IDEO Awards
Steelcase Inc., a global office environments manufacturer, today announced that it has won Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) for three of its products. Silver IDEAs were awarded to collaborative chairs cobi and i2i, and a Bronze IDEA was awarded to Steelcase’s intuitive and ergonomically supportive task chair, Amia.

FISP Award
24th June 2008 - Steelcase, the global leader in the office furniture industry, has been awarded a British FISP (Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme) certificate in acknowledgment of its pioneering “Life Cycle Thinking” approach and sustainable manufacturing ethos.

Industry Janus
4th October 2007- Attesse P30 was awarded with an Industry Janus. The Janus award is organised by the French Institute for Design. The Janus awards companies, whose approach to design combines innovation and real added value for the user. The methodology used to pick the best of the many candidates is based on 5 criteria - ergonomics, aesthetics, economy, emotion and ethics.

Red Dot Design Award
Strasbourg, March 2007 - Activa, the new C-foot desk from Steelcase, a Stefan Brodbeck design, was awarded a red dot. The international “red dot design award” is one of the largest and most famous design competitions in the world.
