At Steelcase, environment has been a continuous management activity in all areas for years.
Our environmental commitment does not stop at getting our plants certified. It also leads us at creating products that include both environmental and human health as key decision parameters alongside usual considerations such as quality, reliability and price.
We apply our eco-design expertise to create innovative products with reduced environmental impacts. For us, "designing for the environment" covers 3 strategic initiatives key to our continuous improvement commitment: materials chemistry, life cycle assessment and recycle & reuse.
We also propose eco-service such as the packaging take back, the eco-lease and "re-use" channels for products.
